The Battle of Brandywine: September 11, 1777
On September 11, 1777, Henry Bradford stood with the 3rd Virginia Regiment at the largest land battle of the Revolution. He was wounded at Brandywine, promoted to Sergeant, and lived to build the Hendersonville house we’re now working to save.
